As survival improves after catastrophic injury, it is essential that we evaluate how acute interventions effect long term outcomes. This course is focused on burn injury but is designed to demonstrate how this is a model for many catastrophic conditions. Points of discussion will include management of delirium, early mobilization, barriers and successed in community reentry and return to work as well as the role of vocaitonal interventions.
