Zaccheus J. Ahonle received his PhD in Rehabilitation Counselor Education from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). Zaccheus is employed as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Counseling, Educational Psychology, & Foundations, Rehabilitation Counseling program in the College of Education at Mississippi State University, Starkville, MS. Zaccheus is also affiliated with the Veteran Rural Health Resource Center - Gainesville (VRHRC-GNV), as a WOC Research Associate. His research areas include employment and return to school for individuals with disabilities with an emphasis on Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) with/without co-occurring substance abuse disorder. Other interests include examining the use of tele-technologies in improving accessibility to vocational rehabilitation and independent living services to civilians and Veterans with disabilities.
