Foothills Neuropsychology and Rehabilitation Services
Dr. Angela Yi is a clinical neuropsychologist at Foothills Neuropsychology and Rehabilitation Services (FNRS). FNRS is an independent community based practice with a focus on meeting the long-term cognitive and psychological needs of individuals who are experiencing neurologic change. Dr. Yi received her doctoral degree from Fuller Theological Seminary, Graduate School of Psychology, which provided a foundation in taking a wholistic approach to her clinical work and pursuing specialty training in neuropsychology and rehabilitation psychology. She completed internship training at NYU Langone Medical Center, Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine and a two-year post-doctoral fellowship at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Brain Injury Research Center (BIRC). Dr. Yi is an active member of ACRM as co-chair of the membership committee and Cognitive Rehabilitation Training faculty. She is actively involved in community and local based hospital programs providing regular educational presentations to the community and trainees. Her ongoing research activity involves providing consultation for a study investigating online emotional regulation skills-based training intervention for individuals with TBI, led by Mount Sinai, Icahn School of Medicine Brain Injury research center (BIRC). She is also a co-chair of the medical outcomes panel which is a part of a larger project funded by BIAA focusing on creating guidelines for rehabilitation and chronic disease management of adults with moderate to severe TBI.
