Dr. Joelle Broffman is a licensed clinical neuropsychologist in the VA Palo Alto Health Care System. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of California Los Angeles, her predoctoral internship in clinical psychology at the VA Loma Linda Health Care System, and her doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from the APA accredited program at Pepperdine University. She has also completed a two-year, APA-Accredited postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology in the VA Palo Alto Health Care System. Dr. Broffman has clinical training and experience evaluating and treating patients after TBI, stroke, age-related cognitive decline, neurodegenerative disease, and mental health comorbidities common to the Veteran population including PTSD, depression, anxiety, insomnia, and substance use disorders. She currently works in the Polytrauma Network Site at the VA Palo Alto - Livermore Clinic performing neuropsychological evaluations, and rehabilitation psychotherapy interventions. She also works in the Headache Center of Excellence at VA Palo Alto where she conducts psychodiagnostic intake evaluations, and cognitive behavioral therapy for chronic headache.
