Received Bachelors of Science in Bioengineering from UC Riverside in June 2020. While at UCR she conducted research under Dr. David Kisailus studying high-performing arthropods for development of new composite materials. Her work resulted in becoming a visiting undergraduate researcher at the Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology for summer of 2019 under Dr. Atsushi Arakaki to study chitin-binding proteins in beetle elytra. Her senior design project at UCR was the design of an assistive sitting support device for infant postural control and conducted under Dr. Elena Kokkoni. She will continue her academic career at UC Davis as a graduate student in biomedical engineering beginning Fall 2020.
