Louise Palmer is a multiple sclerosis (MS) research scientist at the Shepherd Center and project manager for the STEP for MS clinical exercise trial. Louise has a 20-year career as a mixed methods behavioral health researcher spanning diverse topics including people with disabilities, maternal and child health, access to health care, and the social determinants of health. In her current role at the Shepherd Center, she works with the MS research division to develop and implement novel mixed methods research projects to further the field of rehabilitation and wellness research in MS.
