Dr. Huang’s research focus is to comprehend how virtual reality impacts the neuromuscular control of human movement, and his overall research goal is to identify the role of neuromuscular control at the peripheral and central levels while executing a functional task, and how it be influenced by virtual reality, in healthy and neurodegeneration population. Dr. Huang obtained his PhD in Physical Therapy with biomechanics focus from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and completed his postdoctoral training at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital at Lincoln, Nebraska. He is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
