Mr. Annetta is an electrical engineer with over nine years of experience in the medical device field. His background is in electronic hardware design, data processing, algorithm development, and clinical studies. His experience covers a wide range of medical devices including small on-body sensors, high flux radiation detectors, and drug delivery devices. Mr. Annetta is currently the Engineering Lead for Neurotechnology at Battelle. He was a key contributor in the development of the NeuroLife® system, which uses an implanted neuroprosthetic, neural decoding algorithms, and a high definition electrical stimulator to reanimate a user’s paralyzed hand, controlled by their own thoughts.
