Saurabh Raut was born in Mumbai, India. After acquiring his High School diploma in 2011, Saurabh joined the M S Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore, India in 2013. He received his Bachelor of Engineering degree with a major in Medical Electronics from M S Ramaiah Institute of Technology in June 2017. In August 2017, he entered The University of Texas at Dallas to pursue Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering. Saurabh joined the Ultrasound Imaging and Therapy laboratory, in September 2017, where he worked under the guidance of Dr. Kenneth Hoyt. His research focus was on Non-invasive Pressure estimation studies in vitro using Ultrasound Imaging and phase-change agents (PCCA). He joined Battelle Memorial Institute in January 2020 as a Biomedical Engineering Co-Op.
