Neurological Physical Therapy Resident
Mount Sinai Hospital
New York, New York
Gemma is the neurological physical therapy resident at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. She comes from a diverse academic background which includes an undergraduate degree in American Studies with a minor in Dance from Skidmore College. Prior to receiving her Doctorate in Physical Therapy, from New York Medical College, she was a program manager of a community dance program which aimed to make arts education accessible to all. Gemma applies her variety of experience to her work as a neurological physical therapy resident by considering all aspects of the individual to develop, implement, and work with the individual to achieve their movement goals. To that effect, Gemma is interested in research which investigates predictive models and rehabilitation frameworks for patient outcomes that encompass the function, activity, and participation limitations.
