Dr. Ni is a biostatistician with expertise in applying modern psychometric theories and techniques in developing, linking and validating patient-reported outcomes measures, implementing computerized adaptive testing. He has a medical degree from Shanghai Medical University. His current position is a senior biostatistician and Research Associate Professor and at Boston University School of Public Health. He has developed the algorithms to conduct Unidimensional and Multidimensional Computerized Adaptive Testing (CAT) models. He is the key person in developing several patient reported outcome assessments, including the Activity Measure for Post Acute Care(AM-PAC), Pediatric Evaluation of Disability Inventory-Computer Adaptive Test (PEDI-CAT), Life Impact Burn Recovery Evaluation (LIBRE) Profile scales etc..
