Kelly McKenzie works at the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab as a Research Physical Therapist in Dr. Arun Jayaraman’s Max Nader Center for Rehabilitation Technologies and Outcomes Research and as an Outpatient Neurologic Physical Therapist. Kelly serves as a project coordinator for the Stroke and Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Non-Invasive Spinal Stimulation studies that are currently underway the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab.
Kelly graduated in 2011 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Illinois at Chicago with highest honors and received the College of Applied Health Sciences Dean's Achievement Award. Kelly is a board certified neurologic clinical specialist. Kelly's primary areas of clinical expertise are rehabilitation for persons with SCI and promoting the recovery of functional ambulation for persons with neurological disorders.
