Dr Guillaume Souesme is a postdoctoral fellow at the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Rehabilitation and Social Integration (CIRRIS) in Québec City, Canada. He is also associated member to the Research Team of Psychology of Age of Life and Adaptation of the University of Tours, France. He completed his Ph.D. in Social Psychology at Tours University, France under the supervision of Dr Claude Ferrand, specializing on motivation, emotion and quality of life of older people. His present research is supported by grants from CIRRIS and pertains to psychopathology (particularly depression and anxiety) associated with traumatic injuries (traumatic injuries, brain injuries, mild cognitive impairment). He is author of 6 peer-reviewed articles or book chapters, most of which pertaining to older people.
