Dr. Davies is currently a Professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy and is a faculty member in the Molecular, Cellular & integrative Neurosciences program. Dr. Davies directs the Brainwaves Research Laboratory at CSU. Her research focuses on brain processing and performance related to executive functions and motor and sensory abilities. Dr. Davies, as PI or Co-PI, has received over $15.8 million in grant funds for research and demonstration projects. She has been a member of three interdisciplinary research teams: one developing brain-computer interfaces, one applying universal design for learning and post-secondary opportunities for college students with disabilities, and one developing and implementing obesity prevention interventions for young children. Dr. Davies is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Foundation Academy of Research which recognizes individual who have made exemplary, distinguished and sustained contributions toward the science of occupational therapy.
