Center for Smart Use of Technologies to Assess Real World Outcomes (C-STAR) and Restore Center New Product Icon

NIH Medical Rehabilitation Research Resource (MR3) Network

THE CENTER FOR SMART USE OF TECHNOLOGIES TO ASSESS REAL WORLD OUTCOMES (C-STAR) offers the expertise, instruction, and mentorship to educate researchers on the meaningful use of a vast array of technologies in the lab, clinic and community. Below you will find three videos that introduce C-STAR, provide background on pilot funding opportunities, and our Idea Lab whiteboard sessions, where clinicians and researchers come together to explore new ideas. THE RESTORE CENTER aims to establish vital research infrastructure and enable rehabilitation scientists to use mobile sensors to monitor a diverse set of real-world outcomes. Below, click on the two links to the right to visit our OpenSense website, an open-source software tool for analyzing movement with inertial measurement unit (IMU) data, and to view a video of how we can use single camera video to analyze movement. View the MR3 Brochure on the NM4R Product Page for a snapshot of our center expertise, and links to our websites.
