Surgical management of salivary mucocele
Rupture of the mandibular and sublingual salivary duct occasionally occurs in the dog resulting in salivary mucocele and rannula. Treatment is surgical resection of the offending salivary glands and excision or marsupialization of the rannula. This session will discuss salivary gland resection and rannula drainage using video of clinical case material to enhance participant understanding of surgical technique.
