WVC 91st Annual Conference
A photographic and radiographic presentation of common oral pathology with subtle hints of underlying significant dental pathology will be presented. Hidden periodontal, endodontic, acquired, and development diseases will be presented. The participants will learn to look for these subtle findings on the conscious and anesthetized oral examination.
1. Veterinarians will learn clinical examination findings suggestive of significant subgingival pathology requiring intraoral radiographs for confirmation and diagnosis.
2. Veterinarians will learn what can be hidden in areas of missing teeth (e.g., retained tooth roots, dentigerous cysts)
3. Veterinarians will learn to recognize regions of hidden periodontal and endodontic disease.
