WVC 91st Annual Conference
For many of us in veterinary medicine, from client care representatives to nurses to doctors and managers, practicing our profession has become a depleting and stressful endeavor. Thrive? We often feel we can barely survive! The good news is, there are simple, effective, evidence-based tools for creating and nurturing environments in our hospitals that allow individuals, teams, and the business itself to flourish. It’s all based in science and the application of these validated tools can actually result in sustainable practice growth.
In this interactive workshop attendees will gain basic knowledge in the science of psychological well-being including a detailed understanding of how workplace well-being drives business and organizational outcomes. Evidence-based and validated tools for building a culture of employee well-being, both from a leadership and organizational perspective, will be shared and attendees will take home a customized plan for applying these tools in their own hospital. The result of attending this workshop will be improved business profitability through fostering a hospital culture of workplace well-being.
