WVC 91st Annual Conference
The pancreas is a difficult organ to image. The normal pancreas does not have a recognizable capsule and is often isoechoic to the surrounding mesentery making identification of the pancreas more challenging than other organs. The lecture will go over to confidently image the pancreas and be able to recognize both normal and abnormal findings. Diseases that will be discussed include acute and chronic pancreatitis, pancreatic neoplasia, as well as cystic processes with the pancreas.
