This session will describe the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC’s) new strategy to strengthen vaccine confidence in the wake of recent outbreaks of measles and other diseases and describe up to date evidence on practice-based strategies to address vaccine hesitancy. The session will be presented by Amanda Cohn, MD, FAAP, from the CDC, and Sean O’Leary, MD, MPH, FAAP, a member of the AAP Committee on Infectious Diseases.
