Ankyloglossia (tongue-tie) and lip-tie may lead to difficulties with breastfeeding. Faculty will discuss diagnostic tools; a differential for breastfeeding problems; interventions for ankyloglossia; a relationship-centered approach to communicating with families; and a breastfeeding home approach for best care. Areas of debate and research needs also will be presented.
