Friday, October 25
3:00 PM - 3:45 PM
Location: Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, R09
CME credit: 0.75

Session Type: Focused Topic

Topic(s): LGBT+

Despite increased media attention on lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) issues, many pediatricians feel ill-prepared to address these issues with their patients and families. During this session, attendees will learn about nomenclature, concepts, and risk factors for LGBT health disparities, and will receive resources to help make their practice setting one that cares for all children and families.
