Children’s device use starts in the newborn period. Therefore, media-related anticipatory guidance must be done early to guide families effectively. Faculty will discuss the evidence behind updated AAP media recommendations; educate pediatricians on how to convey this critical information to families during well-child visits; and review AAP resources that can help families make decisions regarding device use.
