Topic(s): Communications & Media

Since the AAP policy statement on media use was published in 2016, a growing body of research about interactive media and its gamified nature has emerged. Newer media are designed with persuasive methods that aim to sustain child attention and engagement, which require new strategies to manage. This session will update pediatricians on how to handle challenges of newer media use among young patients.
