Faculty will present approaches general pediatricians can use to identify and optimize management of babies with neonatal abstinence syndrome. Attendees will learn criteria for newborn nursery discharge and strategies to prepare for discharge, including anticipatory guidance unique to these infants. Faculty also will discuss follow-up needs and resources for parents and caregivers.
