Pediatric urologists have recently become aware of the impact of bowel function, specifically constipation, on common pediatric urology problems. Treatment of constipation is a cornerstone in managing urinary tract infection, vesicoureteral reflux, and wetting. Faculty will discuss the relationship between bowel and bladder dysfunction, diagnosis of constipation, management, and struggles with compliance.
