Car safety seats reduce risk for injury and death but are hard to use. Faculty will discuss how to select the appropriate seat, common misuses, installation issues, when to transition from one type of seat to the next, and new AAP guidelines. Attendees will spend most of the session with certified child passenger safety technicians to gain hands-on expertise with car safety seats.
