This program will educate neonatal health care providers on how to conduct post-event debriefings. These facilitated discussions of a clinical event differ from meetings to assist staff in managing emotionally taxing incidents. They focus on learning and performance improvement and have been shown to reduce equipment-related problems, and improve communication and teamwork.
