This program will focus on integrative approaches to acute and chronic pain in children in the era of an opioid crisis. Topics to be covered include nonpharmacological, noninvasive integrative therapies such as acupuncture, mind-body skills, hypnosis, massage, and distraction; approaches to pain in low-resource environments; and the psychology of pain and pain memory.
