Faculty will review factors to consider when evaluating adolescent sleep issues, including the differential diagnosis and evaluation of insomnia and daytime sleepiness. The session also will cover indications for polysomnography and interventions such as bright light therapy, behavioral interventions (sleep schedules and stimulus control), cognitive-behavioral interventions, motivational interviewing, melatonin, and medications.
