This session will outline an approach to evaluating a child for trauma symptoms and creating an appropriate care plan. Faculty will focus on using evidence-based practices to assess whether a child diagnosed with post-traumatic symptoms could benefit from psychotropic medications. The increased practice of “deprescribing” also will be discussed.
