The session will focus on professional liability, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act; privacy and boundary issues; electronic distraction; and videotaping. Ways to minimize liability risks will be explored, including a review of the American Medical Association Ethics Opinion on Professionalism in the Use of Social Media.
