Location: Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, 228-230
CME credit: 1.50

Session Type: Seminar

Topic(s): Adolescent Health

In 2018, the AAP recommended universal screening of adolescents for depression. Limited knowledge and experience, time constraints, and mental health specialist availability can present challenges to offering behavioral health in pediatric primary care. Faculty will present real-world cases and share strategies to prepare pediatric offices to assess, diagnose, and manage adolescents with depression.
