Veterinarians and veterinary staff are very important to us. They are our friends, colleagues, classmates, and caretakers of our beloved pets. Sadly, we are seeing disturbing trends regarding the level of veterinary burnout, compassion fatigue, ethics exhaustion, decreased career satisfaction, and suicide.
Mark your calendars for the 2-hour live CE event featuring: Barry Kipperman DVM, DACVIM; Kimberly Pope-Robinson, DVM, CCFP; Sonnya Dennis, DVM, DABVP; Carrie Jurney, DVM, DACVIM (Neurology), Jason Sweitzer, DVM, RVT, Nicole Blackmer-Mcarthur, DVM, Founder Not One More Vet, and other well-respected industry thought leaders and influencers as we help educate veterinarians, students, techs and anyone who surrounds them about the challenges and opportunities faced by those drawn to be a part of the most compassionate and trusted profession in the world. They don’t teach this stuff in school (although, we feel they should), and we hope with some transparency and foresight, we can be a catalyst to help change that and end the epidemic.

This skill has served her well across numerous speaking engagements, in teaching residents and while educating her clients about their pet's condition. Dr. Jurney is an enthusiastic clinician. While she enjoys all of neurology, neurosurgical procedures and neurocritical care have a special place in her heart. In 2015, she decided to combine her love of neurology, traveling and education and Jurney Veterinary Neurology was formed.
