Dr. Gary P. Oswald, a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, is a board-certified specialist in the field of veterinary small animal internal medicine. Dr. Oswald is a Cleveland Ohio native and received his BS and DVM degrees from the Ohio State University. He interned at Oradell Animal Hospital in New Jersey and completed a medical residency/masters degree in Internal Medicine at Colorado State University. He is the author of multiple veterinary articles and is a frequent continuing education lecturer throughout North America and Europe. He has been in private specialty practice since 1991 and is currently the department head of Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine at Tampa Bay Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Care Center. He evaluates patients with various internal medicine, cardiopulmonary, oncology and emergency issues.
