Specialty Veterinary Technician Session: In this one hour presentation, we will outline and highlight several Neurology cases and explore how diagnostics, communication, nutritional support and nursing care can collectively be provided to optimize overall outcomes. Case types and diagnosis will vary including CNS, Spinal Cord, Degenerative and other disease categories.

Julie has over 15 years as a Licensed Veterinary Technician, and over 10 years experience in public relations and technical writing.Extensive experience in grant research and writing. Special depth in all aspects of companion animal health, especially veterinary neurology including patient rehabilitation, veterinary communications, nutrition, career development, public speaking and technical writing. Special interests also include study of the Human-Animal Bond, Humane education-including the DAKOTAH Fund for Humane Education through the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Foundation, Inc. Ms. Nettifee has authored articles regionally to internationally and has presented on many topics at many conferences including ACVIM, International Veterinary Nursing Congress and more.
