Mona Boord

Animal Dermatology Clinic

Dr. Mona Boord is a veterinarian with specialized training in the field of dermatology. She graduated from the University of California Davis in 1992. She became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology (ACVD) in 1997. Dr. Boord became an owner and board of director with the Animal Dermatology Clinics with the goal of improving the quality of life of her patients and their families by caring for and improving their skin conditions. She contributes training of dermatology to veterinarians as an Associate Professor at the Western University of Health Sciences, mentoring a residency program for the American College of Veterinary Dermatology, international speaking and assisting with teaching visiting veterinarians from abroad. Outside of work, Dr. Boord enjoys competitive performance events with her own dogs including obedience, agility, herding, and tracking.

Lynette Cole

Professor of Dermatology and Otology
The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine

Dr. Cole is a Professor and Section Head of Dermatology and Otology at The Ohio State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee where she received her DVM. She completed her Residency in Dermatology and obtained her Master of Science at The Ohio State University and is a Diplomate of the ACVD. Her publications include over 35 articles and book chapters and she has presented over 80 seminars nationally and internationally. She is involved in teaching and training of the veterinary students and dermatology residents. Her research interests include Staphylococcal infections/antibiotics, otitis media, Primary Secretory Otitis Media in the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and brain-stem auditory evoked response (BAER) testing.

James Noxon

Morrill Professor and Staff Dermatologist College of Veterinary Medicine Iowa State University
Iowa State University

Dr. Jim Noxon is a Morrill Professor in the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences, a staff dermatologist in the Veterinary Medical Center, and Section Leader of the Dermatology section for the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences at Iowa State University. Dr. Noxon received his DVM degree from Colorado State University in 1976 and spent two years of private practice in Denver, Colorado. He completed a residency in small animal internal medicine at the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1980 and is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Small Animal Internal Medicine). Dr. Noxon is a past president of the American Academy of Veterinary Dermatology, and the 2015 recipient of the Frank Kral Award for Excellence in Dermatology from that organization. Dr. Noxon has also received numerous awards for teaching and is a two-time recipient of the Carl J. Norden Distinguished Teaching Award. . His research interests are otology and veterinary education.

Andrew Rosenberg

Dr. Andrew Rosenberg earned his Bachelor of Science with distinction in research from Cornell University in 2005. After receiving his DVM from the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009, Dr. Rosenberg completed a rotating internship in small medicine and surgery at Long Island Veterinary Specialists in Plainview, New York. He completed his 3-year dermatology residency with Animal Dermatology Clinic in 2013 and achieved Diplomate status with the American College of Veterinary Dermatology in the same year. He received the American College of Veterinary Dermatology Clinical Science Residents Research Award for his work in cyclosporine (Atopica) associated gingival overgrowth in dogs. He is currently practice owner of a dermatology only practice; Animal Dermatology & Allergy Specialists that has locations in both Riverdale, NJ and White Plains, NY.
He is an active member of the College of Veterinary Dermatology and is co-Chair of their Education Committee. He has multiple publications and lectures throughout the country.
