This session will discuss the skin diseases that older dogs develop. Emphasis will be placed on the lesions, patterns and other important historical findings that lead to your tentative diagnosis. A logical diagnostic approach and initial therapies will be presented for some specific case examples.

Dr. Rosenkrantz achieved Diplomate status in the ACVD in 1986. He has help to build the largest group of veterinary dermatology practices in the world. He has served on the multiple ACVD and WCVD committees. He was awarded the DVM Pharmaceutical Award of Excellence and the Frank Král Award for his contributions. He actively lectures and has been an instructor for the ESAVS and for the Western Veterinary Medicine College. He has published extensively and is a co-editor of Veterinary Allergy and contributed to the Current Veterinary Dermatology and the 7th edition of Muller and Kirk’s Small Animal Dermatology.
