Today’s animal care facilities are truly state of the art in every sense. While other conference topics discuss comfort, odor mitigation and hospital function. This presentation is devoted exclusively to appearance and beauty. The combination of lighting, colors, patterns and textures selected for the interior spaces of an animal care facility will benefit everyone, whether building a new or renovating an existing building. Understanding the process of selecting attractive colors and functional materials for the interior design of an animal hospital is obviously important. Learning to assemble them into a logical palette for a typical hospital from material and finish samples will be discussed within the context of this presentation.
