Topic(s): Orthopaedics

Common fractures and injuries that can be stabilized initially or treated definitively in a general pediatric practice will be presented. Faculty will demonstrate splints and casts, immobilization devices, slings, and braces. Participants then will get hands-on experience with upper extremity splints and casts as well as lower extremity splints, with faculty supervision and feedback. Time will be allowed for questions.
