The Advanced Pediatric Life Support (APLS) Course will be presented in a one-day format. The core of the course — pediatric assessment, airway, cardiovascular, trauma, central nervous system, and medical emergencies — will be presented through case-based lectures, small-group case discussions, and hands-on skill labs. Participants are expected to review APLS: The Pediatric Emergency Medicine Resource Manual prior to the course. Pre- and post-study and testing options are available to earn an APLS Course Completion Card. Enrollment will be limited to 80 participants.
