Minor burn wounds in children are some of the most commonly encountered injuries by the practicing pediatrician. This session will help attendees feel more confident in managing minor burn wounds in the outpatient clinical setting. Attendees also will learn to recognize severe burn injuries and signs of early wound infection so they can effectively and efficiently refer these patients to a pediatric burn referral center.
