After faculty present an overview of the evaluation and management of wounds in the pediatric population, participants will rotate through three stations. Each station will have a short, didactic presentation to review the appropriate application of each procedure/technique followed by hands-on practice. Stations will address basic suturing techniques, including instrument ties, simple sutures, and inverted subcutaneous sutures; stapling, suture/staple removal, and tissue adhesive application; and incision and drainage and foreign body removal from orifices and skin.
