Scientific rigor has been applied to the study of biofeedback and hypnosis, and there is evidence for efficacy in those with migraine headaches, chronic daily headaches, Raynaud’s disease, recurrent abdominal pain, anxiety, depression, sleep disorders, seizures, and bowel and bladder incontinence. This session will review the theories, current techniques, and clinical application of biofeedback and hypnosis in the pediatric and adolescent populations. Case studies will be presented.
