Teaming Up to Address Social-Emotional Health in Early Childhood
Timely and effective interventions in the early years can mitigate morbidity associated with mental health disorders. This program will focus on how to address mental and behavioral health disorders within pediatric primary care and early childhood settings. Steps to address mental and behavioral health in primary care (behavioral health integration) will be discussed. Interventions supporting young children and their families’ mental health in early education settings will be provided along with opportunities for early education and the medical home to collaborate.
