S1095 Stop the Bullying: Evidence-Based Strategies
Saturday, November 3
2:00 PM - 3:30 PM
Location: W315, Orange County Convention Center
Long tolerated as a rite of passage into adulthood, bullying is now recognized as a major and preventable public health problem. In 2016, the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine published the report Preventing Bullying Through Science, Policy and Practice. This seminar will review the report’s findings and recommendations with a focus on the role of pediatricians in identifying, preventing, and intervening with youth involved as perpetrators or victims of bullying.
