Anxiety, depression, and somatization are common in children and youth. Early identification and treatment can prevent development of more severe presentations. During this seminar, participants will practice office-based strategies to identify and treat anxiety, depression, and related symptoms. Discussion will address medication management, including monitoring for therapeutic and adverse events. Participants also will practice using tools to screen, treat, and monitor response to treatment.
