Therapeutic Update and Differences in Drug Dosing for Children With Obesity
Every year, new drugs are approved for use in children. In addition, pediatric drug development laws have spurred studies that support improvements in efficacy and safety labeling of therapeutics for pediatric conditions. This information leads to a rethinking of risk/benefits. This program will provide an update on selected new therapeutic agents or new uses for existing medications. In addition, the differences in dosing for selected drugs in children with obesity will be reviewed.
