Food and Obesity: How to Nourish the Body, Mind, and Soul The study of culinary medicine (food as medicine) and mindfulness have grown tremendously. Understanding the relationship between nutrition and health will enable pediatricians to help families make meaningful, sustainable change. In concert, mindful eating is emerging as an effective strategy to achieve and maintain a healthy weight. This program will provide pediatricians with strategies to help patients and families practice mindful eating and foster positive relationships with food.
