This session will focus on age-appropriate pre-travel anticipatory guidance. Faculty will provide a basis for an efficient pre-travel risk factor assessment, including immunizations, antimicrobial prophylaxis, and disease avoidance recommendations based on destination and planned activities. The need to consider common and new travel-related threats based on itinerary also will be emphasized.
